The team showed great character in coming from 2-0 down at half time to earn 2-2 draw and could quite easily have won 3-2. Chairman Paul Collinson & Physio Shaun Hayes joined the squad after flying in after the first fixture.

After finding ourselves 2-0 down at half time again we once more showed great character in the second half to come back and win 4-2. Dan Boere eventually played his first game of the tour and repaid the management with a great 25yd rocket.

Man of the Match Jason O'Brien. All the lads who played so well during the Cyprus tour were now all deployed to Afghanistan which meant we were very thin on the ground. The team stayed in the new sports accommodation at HMS Temeraire.

The RMFA were that strapped for players even the Injured Jason Margrett attempted to play but his knee gave way in the warm up. Dan Boere had to return to CTCRM for his SA's course and Harry Richardson's hire car failed to turn up.
